The Covenant Cedars Outdoor Education Program was created to give
students a fun, interactive learning opportunity. It combines both classes and activities to allow students to learn through experience. This packet is intended to introduce you to the outdoor education program that Covenant Cedars has to offer.
Our program is intended for 4th through 6th grade, but can be adjusted to any grade level. It is offered in the Fall and the Spring with both day and
overnight trips available. The average cost for our program is around $18 per student (this includes a meal) depending upon the schedule you wish to create with us.
We will work with you to design a schedule that is right for you. It can be tailored to your students needs based on the classes and activities that you choose.
The classes and activities offered cover a wide variety from basic first aid to
wilderness survival. Though there are many options, as a leader, you may add your own personal touch through the Teacher’s Choice.
By using the Teacher’s Choice, this allows you to create your own 45 minute class or activity to put into the rotation schedule. This class or activity will be taught and facilitated by a leader or teacher from your school.
In the following pages, you will find information on the classes and
activities offered. You will also find sample schedules, meal and lodging
information, and the online registration and payment forms. The registration form will guide you through the scheduling process.
Call us at (402) 757-3241 if you have any questions and to check on the
availability of dates prior to completing your registration form.
