Animal Tracking
Students will gain an understanding in animal track identification through first-hand exploration, group participation, and the creation of their own “take home” animal track!

Archery
By participating in this activity, students will learn the fundamental techniques of archery. Students will be shown effective safety procedures so they may properly enjoy learning the skills needed to use a bow and arrow.

Campfire
Top off your education experience with a delicious outdoor treat by adding s'mores and a campfire to your schedule.

Challenge Course
The Challenge Course presents a unique opportunity for an adventure in leadership. Students will learn to work as a team, trust one another, and develop good communication skills.

Climbing Wall
Four different sides varying in difficulty make the climbing wall fun for everyone. Whether your a veteran rock climber or this is your first time the wall is a great activity for all!

Crate Stacking
Each student will have the opportunity to stack as many milk crates as possible, in a certain amount of time, while attached to an auto belay device, without falling.

Dutch Oven Dinner
Students will not only enjoy a delicious meal, but also learn the basics of outdoor cooking as they get to participate in the preparation of the Dutch Oven Dinner & dessert!

Fishing
Students will learn how to cast and reel, tie knots, use common lures and bait, and basic fish identification native to the state of Nebraska.

Geocaching
Students will learn the basic history of navigation and how to use the Global Positioning System via a receiver. Class also includes a geocache treasure hunt.

Map & Compass
By learning basic directions and the use of numeric bearings each student will be able to effectively navigate using a compass after the completion of this class.

Nature Trail
As they explore a lake setting, students will watch and identify many plants, animals, and tracks as they hike. Students get physical exercise while they learn to appreciate hiking the great outdoors and experience the rope bridge!

Tree Identification
Students will actively learn and explore the uses of trees and have a fuller understanding of tree identification, anatomy, growth, aging, and life zones.

Waterfront Activities
Boating is an excellent form of exercise while encouraging good balance and coordination, plus canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boating are all a lot of fun!
(Swimming available if weather permits) -
Wilderness Survival
The class will engage the students in learning the essentials parts of maintaining life in a survival situation as well as teach the basics of primitive fire-starting.

Zipline
Safely jump from a 42’ tower and enjoy a wild 100 yard ride. Not only fun, but a confidence boost and a great lesson in trust and faith.
